My name is Irie Sauceda-Lindsey, and I’m a portrait photographer based in Denver, Colorado.

I first sparked an interest in photography as a young girl, accompanying my aunt on her many photo shoots. This later led me to pursue a BFA with a concentration in photo image-making at Colorado State University.

I specialize in senior + graduate portraits as well as couples’ portraits. It’s an amazing feeling to tell a person’s story.

I love meeting and interacting with new people. I’m granted with the chance to hear about their lives; their goals & aspirations; maybe even their doubts and hardships. At the end of each encounter, I’m pleased to have gained a genuine connection with another human. These connections are at the heart of my work and are sincerely the reason why I do what I do, and why I love it so much.

For many it is easy to look at the world with disgust, hatred, and disapproval. But why burden yourself with such a negative outlook? Wouldn’t you rather view our world for all of its wonderful beauty?

The world is about intimacy, it’s about understanding, it’s about confidence, it’s about love; it’s about becoming ONE with another as we are much more similar than we are different. Our existence is but one component to a much greater story.

What a beautiful feeling it is to experience this thing called life, don’t you think?
